The season in the Cyclades Islands starts with Greek Orthodox Easter which in 2019 is one week later than the Catholic Church, on Sunday 28th April. May offers blue skies and everywhere is quiet, fresh and new. People have time for you whilst the days are lengthening and the pace is slow, before the season starts to build in June. June offer warm seas, clear air and the pace quickens as July arrives. August is busy and it can be frenetic, but there is much to do and to see. Then comes September... the Greek Cyclades Islands are beautiful in late summer - the sea is still warm, temperatures are perfect and the Meltemi winds of July & August are replaced by gentle breezes. Everywhere is still open and the clamor of high summer is replaced by an idyllic peace....
